We, the Staff & Management of Charles Edwards Funeral Home & Cremations, mourn with the Strong family, in the death of Mr. Jeffery Lee Strong, age 59, transitioned on Monday, December 17, 2018.
Beloved son of Ann Robbins and Ledrew Strong was born February 12, 1959.
He resided with his family in Vanceboro, NC for 11 years. The following 20 years were spent with his mother in Silver Springs, MD. After the death of his mother in 2000, Jeffrey joined his sister, Carolyn Turner, and his brother-in-law, Rawland Michael Turner (late), in Durham, NC.
Jeffery brightened many lives with his loving nature and glowing smile. He will be missed by his family and the many lives he touched with joy.
Ones left to cherished his memory include his sister, Carolyn Strong Turner of Durham, NC; aunt, Lillie Robbins of Atlanta, GA; three uncles, Artuscus Robbins of Washington, DC, Rev. Ben C. Robbins (Esther) of Pocomoke City, MD, and Tuncil Robbins of Clarksville, TN, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Mrs. Mary Robbins Johnson, of 1359 Ellison Court Greenville, NC.
