We, the Staff & Management of Charles Edwards Funeral Home & Cremations, mourn with the Roach/Hardy family, in the death of Lieutenant Milton Ray Roach, age 50, of 5521 Summerville Ave. Baltimore, MD., formerly of Ayden, NC.
He was a 1988 graduate of West Craven High School, afterwards he enlisted in the United States Army and later employed by Spring Grove Hospital Center Police Department.
Milton was the beloved husband of Dawn Herring; devoted son of Milton Hardy and the late Barbara Jean Roach; stepson of Mary Hardy; brother of Erica Daniels, Latara Evans, Dalton Carmon, Frederick Richmond, Tangia Elieff, Chris Williams, Kawana Hardy, and Suprena Shuler. Milton was also cherished by his aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 14, 2018 at 1:00pm at Zion Chapel Free Will Baptist Church 377 Planters St, Ayden NC with Bishop James E. Tripp officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in Viola Mills-Hardy Cemetery, Grifton, NC
The family will be receiving friends at the residence of his father Mr. Milton Hardy, 2891 Wilmar Rd. Vanceboro NC and will assemble there at 12 noon in preparation for the funeral service.
