We, the staff and management of Charles Edwards Funeral Home mourn with the Blow Family in the lost of their loved one, Mr. David A. Blow affectionately known as “Bud” of Greenville NC.
“Bud” was born October 4, 1940 to the late Grover Blow and Martha Langley Staton in Pitt County NC. He attended the local schools and was a agriculture farmer. He was also a former employee of Singer Furniture Company in Chocowinity NC. In his spiritual journey he was a member of Olive Branch Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Taylor. He was fondly known for one of his favorite sayings: “I GOT ONE MORE THING TO SAY”
In 1960, “Bud” married Gloria Jean Warren and from this union came six daughters and one son.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Pittman, one brother, Isaiah Blow. Two grandchildren, Derrick Blow and Rodney Warren and one great grandchild, Jalen Blow.
Loved ones left to cherish “Bud” are: His wife, Gloria Warren-Blow of Greenville NC. One son, Adaryll Blow of Stockbridge, GA. Six daughters, Carolyn Warren, Patricia Blow, Eldress Margaret Blow, Kimberly Blow, and Pastor Mary Blow-May all of Greenville NC and Sherry Cannon of Columbia SC. Four brothers, John Blow and Nathaniel Blow both of Greenville NC, Elisha Blow and Orange Blow both of Bethel NC. One sister, Lucy Smith of Bethel NC. 19 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren. Two Sister-in-laws, Lottie Warren and Alice Blow both of Greenville NC. Two brother-in-laws, Milton Warren of Greenville NC and Tap Warren of Alaska. Special nieces, Naomi, Edna, Taffney and Jessica along with a host of other relatives, extended family and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration will take place on Saturday May 4, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from Warren Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 2864 Speight Seed Farm Rd, Winterville, with Bishop Jessie Jones, Officiating. The viewing will take place one hour before the service.
The Interment will follow in Homestead Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Jesse and Mary May, 355 Teel’s Estate Dr, Greenville NC, where they will also assemble no later than 11:00 AM in preparation for the funeral procession.
