We, the staff and management of Charles Edwards Funeral Home mourn with the Williams Family in the loss of their loved one, Mr. Jessie Lee “Boot” Williams formerly of Pitt County.
Mr. Williams was born in Pitt County to the late Jessie Sr, and Percee Williams. Mr. Williams attended the public schools in Pitt County. He relocated to Baltimore and was employed as a plumber. He retired from Millie Construction Company. He loved his wife and children and his friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Williams, Jack Williams, and Curtis Artis. His children, Cynthia Williams, Donald Williams, Marvin Williams, and Renee Williams. Two stepsons, Jerome Smith and Cornell Jarrington as well as one grandson, Octavius Williams.
Cherishing his memories and celebrating his legacy is his wife, Vermelle Williams of the Home. His daughters, Minister Brenda Williams, Peggy Artis (Oliver), Janice Smith (Elder Kenneth) all of Grifton NC. Jenelle Williams (Jan) and his son Russell Williams all of Dover Delaware. Angela Williams, Etienne Maye (Robert), Wanda Williams, Evangeline Williams, and Vanta Williams all of Kinston NC. Lamont Carter (Sherry), Nettie Harris all of Baltimore Maryland. One sister, Edna Williams of Brooklyn, NY. One sister in law, Deloris Williams of Baltimore Maryland. 15 grandchildren and a host of great grands, close relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration will take place on Wednesday July 31, 2019 at 11:30am from the March Funeral Home. 1101 East North Ave. Baltimore Maryland 21202 with the Pastor Anthony Burney, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. 3900 Hollins Ferry Rd, Halethorpe, Maryland.
